The Tron magnetic seal provides the same magnetic closing force as the Xenon but with a round, bulb-shaped profile instead of a flat one. This rounded cross-section creates a different contact pattern when the door closes, which can be advantageous in certain enclosure configurations.
Round vs Flat Magnetic Seals
A flat magnetic seal creates a broad, even contact along its length. A round magnetic seal creates a narrower contact point that can conform better to slightly uneven surfaces or curved glass edges. If you have tried a flat magnetic seal and it does not sit evenly, the round profile may solve the problem. Your shower installer can advise which profile suits your enclosure.
Magnetic Closing Action
Like all magnetic seals, the Tron uses embedded magnetic strips that attract the corresponding strip on the adjacent surface. This pulls the door into its closed position with a firm snap, compensating for minor misalignment and ensuring the door stays closed.
