The Throne is a versatile seal profile that can be used in more than one position on a frameless shower enclosure. Rather than having a profile dedicated strictly to side edges or strictly to bottom edges, the Throne works in either location, which simplifies ordering and means a single spare seal can serve multiple replacement needs.
Where to Use the Throne
The Throne profile fits the vertical side edges of shower doors (where the door meets the wall or adjacent panel) and can also be used along the bottom edge of fixed panels. Its cross-section is designed to create an effective water barrier in both orientations. For door bottom seals specifically, dedicated bottom seal profiles like the Flick or Salute may provide a closer fit, but the Throne offers adequate performance in most configurations.
Clear or Black
Clear is the default for an invisible seal that does not affect the look of the glass. Black is available for bathrooms with dark hardware where a matching seal completes the colour scheme.
Replacement Guide
If you are replacing seals on an existing shower and are unsure which profile is currently installed, bring a small section of the old seal into the Shower Solutions showroom in East Tamaki for matching. Alternatively, contact the team with a photo for identification.
