Shower channel rubber is the gasket strip that sits between the metal channel and the glass panel. Without it, the glass would sit directly on metal, risking chips and cracks over time. The rubber also creates the watertight seal that prevents water escaping between the channel and the glass.
Why You Need It
Every metre of shower channel in your installation needs a corresponding length of channel rubber. If your shower has 6 metres of channel (wall and floor combined), you need at least 6 metres of rubber gasket. It is an inexpensive component, but an essential one. Skipping it or using an incorrect profile can lead to leaks and glass damage.
Clear for Invisibility
The clear rubber is virtually invisible once installed. It disappears between the metal channel and the glass, so it does not interfere with the clean aesthetic of your frameless shower regardless of what channel finish you have chosen.
Profile Compatibility
This rubber gasket is designed specifically for Shower Solutions frameless shower channels. Generic rubber strips from hardware stores may not fit the channel profile correctly, which can compromise the seal and the glass support. Always use the matching gasket for your channels.
Ordering
Sold per 1 metre length. Measure your total channel length and order accordingly, adding a small allowance for trimming. Cut to exact length on site during installation.
