The Reach is an angled side seal designed for situations where a standard flat-profile side seal cannot make full contact with the adjacent wall or glass panel. Its fin extends at an angle from the glass edge, allowing it to bridge wider gaps or conform to surfaces that are not perfectly perpendicular to the door.
When You Need an Angle Seal
Most side seals work by pressing flat against the wall or glass they meet. But if your shower door closes against an angled return panel, a slightly recessed wall, or if the hinge creates an offset that pushes the door edge further from the wall, a flat seal may not make contact. The Reach profile solves this by extending further outward at an angle, closing the gap that a standard seal would leave open.
Identifying the Right Seal
If water is escaping from the side of your frameless shower door despite having a seal installed, the issue may be that the seal profile is wrong for the gap. Check whether the existing seal is making full contact along its length. If there are gaps at any point, the Reach profile or another angled seal may be a better fit for your configuration.
Installation
Slides onto the edge of 10mm glass. No adhesive or fixings required. Trim to length with a sharp blade.
