The Limbo is a bottom seal designed for framed shower doors. It clips or slides into the bottom rail of the door frame and provides a flexible fin that sweeps against the shower tray or floor surface when the door is closed.
Framed vs Frameless Bottom Seals
Framed shower doors have an aluminium rail along their bottom edge, and the seal fits into or onto this rail. Frameless shower doors have an exposed glass edge with no rail, and their seals grip directly onto the glass. The Limbo is designed for the railed configuration. Transparent Design
The Clear version of the Limbo is made from transparent material that blends with the glass and frame, maintaining the visual lightness of the shower enclosure. The Black version coordinates with darker frame finishes.
When to Replace
Framed shower bottom seals see heavy use and can deteriorate faster than side seals. If water is pooling on the bathroom floor after showers, check the bottom seal first. It is the most common point of failure on older framed enclosures.
Fitting
Supplied at 700mm. Trim to match your door width. Slides into the existing bottom rail of the framed door.
