A frameless fixed panel is a single piece of 10mm glass that acts as a splash barrier in a walk-in shower. There is no door, no hinges, and no sliding mechanism. You walk in alongside or around the panel to enter the shower.
Walk-In Shower Design
Walk-in showers are the most open, accessible shower format. The fixed panel contains most of the spray while leaving an open entry that requires no door operation. This makes them ideal for accessibility, for larger bathrooms where containment can be relaxed, and for wet room designs where the entire bathroom floor is waterproofed.
Similar to the Alcove But Without a Door
Where an alcove shower fully encloses the open side with a door, this fixed panel configuration leaves a gap for walk-in access. Less glass, less hardware, and a more open feel.
