The Talon is a bottom seal for framed shower doors with a stiffer, more rigid fin than the Limbo. This firmer profile presses harder against the shower tray or floor surface, creating a stronger barrier in situations where the gap between the bottom rail and the floor is slightly larger than standard.
Talon vs Limbo
Both the Talon and the Limbo fit into the bottom rail of framed shower doors. The Limbo has a softer, more flexible fin that conforms easily to the floor surface. The Talon’s stiffer fin exerts more pressure, which is useful when the door rail sits slightly higher off the floor, such as when new tiles have been laid without adjusting the shower door height.
Identifying the Right Profile
If your current bottom seal is not making firm contact with the floor along its full width, the Talon may provide a better seal due to its increased stiffness. Conversely, if the seal seems too rigid and is causing the door to drag or not close properly, the softer Limbo may be more appropriate.
