The 2-panel slider consists of one fixed glass panel and one sliding panel. The sliding panel glides across the fixed panel on tracks to open the shower. This configuration provides a wider clear opening than a 3-panel slider, which is better for accessibility and for larger users.
2-Panel vs 3-Panel Sliders
A 2-panel slider gives you a wider door opening because the sliding panel covers a larger proportion of the total width. A 3-panel slider has a narrower opening but works better in tighter spaces where the panels need to be smaller. For most standard alcove showers, the 2-panel is the preferred option.
Four Widths Available
1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, and 1800mm, all at 1950mm high. The 1800mm option is the largest standard framed alcove slider available, suited to generous alcove spaces.
Chrome Frame
The aluminium frame is finished in Chrome, the standard for framed shower hardware in New Zealand. The frame provides structural support for the glass panels and houses the sliding track mechanism.
Installation
Fixed to the alcove walls at top, bottom, and sides. Professional installation ensures level tracks and smooth, reliable sliding action.
