This Cubic mixer features Shower Solutions’ Elemno interchangeable shell technology. The internal valve body is permanently plumbed into the wall, but the visible outer casing (the shell) clips on and off without tools. This means you can change the finish of your mixer whenever you want, without calling a plumber or touching the plumbing.
How the Changeable Shell Works
The mixer is installed as normal by a registered plumber. Once the valve is in the wall and operational, the outer shell attaches over the top. To change the finish, you simply unclip the current shell and clip on a new one in a different colour. The lever and internal components remain in place. This is the core concept behind the Elemno range: buy one valve, change the look as often as you like.
Practical Applications
The changeable shell is useful if you are renovating in stages and want to update the bathroom finishes later without replumbing.
