Where 135-Degree Hinges Are Used
The most common application is in corner showers where the entry is angled across the corner rather than parallel to a wall. The angled door panel meets the fixed return panel at 135 degrees, and this hinge provides the pivot point between them. They are also used in walk-in showers with angled splash panels and in custom configurations where walls are not at standard 90-degree angles.
Load-Bearing Construction
Each hinge is engineered to support the weight of 10mm toughened glass panels. The internal spring provides controlled closing action. For standard height enclosures (up to 2000mm), two hinges per door are typically sufficient. Consult your installer for taller or wider configurations.
