Frameless Shower Panel Clips

Panel clips fix a frameless glass panel to a wall or floor at discrete points rather than along its whole edge. The result is a more minimal look than channel, with the glass appearing to float clear of the surface it is fixed to.

The trade-off is load. Where channel spreads the weight of a panel along its full length, clips concentrate it into two or three fixing points. That means the substrate behind each clip has to be capable of carrying real load, and fixing into lining or tile alone is not adequate. Locate framing before you commit to clip positions, and if there is no framing where you need it, either add a noggin before lining or use channel instead.

Clips are also less forgiving of walls that are out of plumb. Channel has packing space to absorb a few millimetres of discrepancy over the height of a panel. Clips do not, so the panel sits wherever the wall puts it.

Our range suits 8mm and 10mm toughened glass. Check your glass thickness before ordering, since a clip sized for 8mm will not close on a 10mm panel.

Available in chrome, matt black, brushed nickel and brushed brass to match your hinges, channels and handles. If you are replacing existing clips, match the fixing hole positions in the wall where possible to avoid patching and re-tiling.
