Bathroom Cleaners

Shower glass goes cloudy for a specific reason, and understanding it changes how you look after it. Every time the glass dries, minerals in the water are left behind on the surface. Over time those deposits bond into the microscopic pores in the glass. Once that has happened, ordinary cleaning will not remove them, because the problem is no longer on the surface. It is in it.

That is why prevention beats cure here. Squeegeeing the glass after each shower takes fifteen seconds and removes the water before the minerals can deposit. A protective glass treatment goes further, filling the surface pores so there is nowhere for deposits to bond in the first place. Both are far cheaper than replacing glass that has become permanently etched, which is the only real fix once it has gone too far.

The products in this range are the ones we recommend to our own renovation customers, which means they have been chosen for what works rather than what has the largest margin. That includes cleaners safe for use on matt black and brushed finishes. This matters more than people realise: many general purpose bathroom cleaners are abrasive or strongly alkaline and will dull or strip a powder coated or PVD finish permanently. If you have specified matt black tapware, check what you are spraying on it.
